About Ramsey Street Family Dental Care

Located at 4136 Ramsey St, Fayetteville, NC 28311, Ramsey Street Family Dental Care operates as a dentist serving Fayetteville in North Carolina. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
In Fayetteville, popular practices book routine cleanings weeks ahead, so call early or ask to be put on a cancellation list; emergency and walk-in clinics are the exception. Across North Carolina, a new-patient exam with X-rays and a cleaning typically runs from about $150 to $350 without insurance, and many offices publish new-patient specials on their websites. Check the listing for hours, whether the office takes your insurance or Medicaid, languages spoken, wheelchair access and parking, then confirm by phone: insurance networks and providers change more often than the listings do.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 8:30 amβ7 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (910) 488-8928. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, ramseystreetdental.com.
Customers rate it 4.4 out of 5 on Google across 287 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded dentists in Fayetteville.
Fayetteville is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Fayetteville is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across North Carolina's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Ramsey Street Family Dental treated me with respect and kindness. Here in Fayetteville, unfortunately, that's hard to come by. Dr. Randall has my forever gratitude for his patience, knowledge and sense of humor. I needed an extraction and hee handled me exactly had I needed to be handled. I didn't feel any of the numbing shots, which still amazes me. I didn't give him much to work with and yet, he still had my severely broken tooth extracted in less than 3 mins. I've never met a dentist as good as he is and I doubt I'll meet one of his caliber again. I'm so fortunate to have been recommended to this facility with all of these wonderful people.

I had another outstanding experience at Ramsey Street Family Dental last week. From Jen at the front desk to Liz assisting during my visit, the entire staff was welcoming, professional, and genuinely caring. Dr. Sam is simply the best! He is knowledgeable, personable, and someone you can completely trust with your dental care. I gladly drive an hour just to be treated by this team, because exceptional care like this is hard to find. Highly recommend!

They made me feel welcomed and comfortable!!! Coming from someone who IS scared of a dentist i HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!

Dr. Cowherd and his staff are amazing! I will not go anywhere else. If you know what Trigeminal Neuralgia is, youβll know itβs absolutely necessary to be numbed when you doing anything with that side of your face! Dr. Cowherd will numb me for routine cleanings. Amazing! Jen, my hygienist is the best Iβve ever had!! If youβre searching for a fabulous Dentist, this is the place!

I went in for a tooth extraction which I told the receptionist before my appointment. I took a day off work I went in the staff was not rude but were talking about inappropriate things in the front. Gossiping about patients which is not professional. I went in they took an x-ray had me sit for about 30 minutes only to come back in the room and refer me out to an oral surgeon! The tooth did not need an oral surgeon for extraction. They wasted my time and made it seem like I needed all this work that only an oral surgeon can do which was not true! I wound up at the hospital in pain because I couldnβt find an oral surgeon that excepted my insurance thinking I couldnβt go to a regular dentist for help. The hospital referred me to Night and Day family dentistry which is open late and on weekends for emergency procedures. Long story short I went to them with out an appointment I was seen within an hour and my teeth were extracted within 5 minutes. No oral surgeon was needed for the extraction. All the time I wasted in pain thinking I couldnβt go to a regular family dentist. They definitely got to charge my insurance for a visit and X-ray though. Very bad unprofessional practice. The doc
